  2. I saw a giant White Owl flying in a blizzard here in Northern Alberta. Much bigger than an average man. It flew a great speed keeping up with my pick up not far off above a snow covered field. It filled me with a strange somewhat foreboding feeling and yet an urge to get on with whatever was about to transpire. Then it turned out away from my vehicle and disappeared into the swirling wind and snow.
Then again several miles from where Id seen it earlier it appeared again, at first just a shimmering outline that stirred the settled snowflakes like powder from where they rested. But quickly the entire magnificent bird could be seen it was so close to my truck. At that moment I recognized the encounter as a once in a lifetime sight that I would see and had seen twice in one day. I wished I could draw or paint such magnificence. But all I can do is write and remember.
Should Death call upon me now I have witnessed the rare and beautiful power wielded by an endangered and majestic if not magical and mythical creature!
Perhaps it represents as you have said these things and a Goddess perhaps not? But there is no doubt in my mind this creature I seen bears significance to me being the one who seen it.
My familiar has always appeared to me as a Large black wolf and I know the sounds and beat of the Varolokur or Warlocks song. But this mammoth creature whos wings carried it so perfectly thru the air spoke to both my heart and soul. I only hope I can decipher what it meant! Thank you for the insight. Of the pages I looked at so far this was the best.

  3. My grandmother passed away in Dec 2008, and this happend in August 2017. I had been feeling my grandmothers presence, and said out loud “If you’re near, please show me a white owl within the next week.”. It wasn’t unheard of to see an owl in that area, but I hadn’t seen one in over a year. Four days later, I was all in my feels and went outside between 10:30pm – 11:00pm. I looked up at the sky with great love and admiration, and a huge white owl went soaring across the sky slowly, and it was SO CLOSE to the ground. It was such an intense moment deep within me. Well, the next day, within 30min of getting to work, my mother contacted me asking me to please come to her house. My grandpa had lived with her since the passing of my grandma, and my mother was contacting me because my Papa had died in his sleep. They told us they believed he passed away likely between 10:00pm and 12:00pm, but I just feel it in my bones, that the moment I saw that owl, my grandmother was bringing my grandfather into the next unknown realm. ? Since then, I always see white owls at meaningful moments in my life, and always get the feeling it’s my grandmother letting me know she’s around, and to keep going.

  5. After my brother passed, I saw a white owl on a snowy day, just sitting on branch looking at me, I look out that window every morning to make my coffee, looking out to woods. It was sitting on a branch, just staring at me, it was such a peaceful feeling I got, bc I had so much guilt, and depression about my brother passing, we argued right before he died, an hr before, I wouldn’t talk to him, let him in my home, he relapsed on drugs. We do not have white owls in my area, and owls usually perch deeper into woods. I knew right then it was my brother as my guide, as telling me to move on, as I saw the white as innocence, peace. It has been 13yrs and haven’t seen another white owl ever, and maybe seen our regional owl a couple times. That was a feeling and moment I will never forget.
