Twin Flame Physical Similarities – Energy Signature Twins Into Physical

Twin flames have a lot in common – that much is a given.

For the twin flame journey to work, twin flames have to share similar outlooks, personality traits and priorities.

What may not be as intuitive is that twin flames often look very similar.

Many people are confused (and sometimes a little horrified) by the physical similarities often shared by twin flames.

If you are one of those people, let us help you understand why these physical similarities exist.

Twin Flames Are Similar

It makes intuitive sense to us that twin flames should be similar in many non-physical aspects.

We have a long history of preferring like-minded people as lovers and partners and for obvious reasons.

There seems to be a disconnect when it comes to the physical, though.

While we accept non-physical similarities quite readily, we don’t appear to accept physical similarities in quite the same way.

Let’s shatter that notion by showing that these similarities come from the same process.

One Soul, Two Souls

Twin flames share a soul energy signature. That isn’t a metaphor or a piece of symbolism, but literal truth.

They emerge as an expression of a singular soul.

However, both twins have their own distinct souls. Yes, this is a paradox, as much of the universe tends to be.

Those distinct souls are of the same stuff, and there are limited ways to be.

No matter how hard you try, the similarities between the two souls forged from the same soul are always going to outweigh the differences.

Getting Physical

We accept this for personality similarities and other things we have in common with our twin flame.

But we often don’t think of how this affects physical similarities.

The fact is that twin flames often look very, very similar – though this fact is somewhat hidden by the staggering nature of twin flame incarnation.

Twin flames which are the same age, or similar age, tend to get mistaken for siblings or cousins because of their physical similarities.

But most twin flame relationships famously have a significant age gap.

The physical similarities are made less visible by the age difference.

But here’s a task for you if you doubt the physical similarities between twin flames and your twin flame relationship has an age gap:

Find photographs of the two of you at the same age

Do that for as many different periods as you can find photos.

Did you see it? Do you notice what’s happening?

Twin flames begin their lives looking nothing like each other.

As time goes on and energies are swapped, these differences fade and both twins begin to look more and more alike.

Why Do Twin Flames Look Alike?

This question is a bit of a silly one when you think about it – after all, you could just as well ask why they wouldn’t.

But it also is an inaccurate one.

Twin flames do not always look alike. What is true is that twin flames look more and more alike as time goes on and their energies share, interplay and interchange.

At the end of it all, twin flames merge back into the soul that bore them and literally become one – which is about as similar as anything can be.

  1. I just read this post about twin flames physical similarities.
I myself recently discovered that we now resemble each other. Before our reconnection, we were different. I have “before” pictures of my twin flame and recent ones .When compared with recent ones, the difference is obvious. I had not noticed how much we had started to resemble each other. A friend of mine pointed at it one year ago. Another one told me the same thing some months ago, and recently another one did the same. His face has changed : it was sharp and hard. It has become softer and more “round”. His eyes are almond shaped. Mine are more or less the same, now. They are black. But when he talks to me and look at me, they become dark green, like mine.

  2. People commonly marry those who look like themselves due to imprinting and social engineering. Looking like your lover’s cousin is hardly a marker of a twinflame relationship given the unremarkable nature of doing so, unless, of course your lover is phenotypically very different from you and your family (ex of different ethnic backgrounds). Twinflames carry the same energetic signature that manifest in the physical through expressions and disposition. The energetic expression can easily be interpreted as a similarity of the physical form, but are not to be confused with reflections of social norms such as sharing the same superficial physical traits (hair color, eye color, skin complexion, height). If you look like your twinflame in the superficial sense, they probably aren’t your twinflame.

  3. I second the comment made by Synthesis. I actually don’t think people will look similar at all (ie like they could be cousins) because you’re implying that the twins will be of the same race or ethnicity when the idea that one ends up with someone who looks like them is a social imprint and quite literally has a name (assortive mating). It’s easy for one to love someone who is the regular type or color of what they like (or themselves), but it’s much more difficult when someone is different from one’s self and what they are used to. I also question why so many seem to be focusing on age differences (esp when it’s an older man) when this is quite literally witnessed and not at all rare. Twin flames are not about what is biologically (men finding younger women attractive) or socially popular it’s about unconditional loving and that love breaking our established norms. What would do that is different races, physical traits (perhaps one is handicapped), or an age gap in which the older partner is the woman. This article seems to be focusing on established norms and not at all on the deeper meaning of unconditional love. That it’s easy to love when one is like us…but difficult when someone isn’t.
