Feeling a Spiritual Connection With Someone?
If you’re spiritually connected to someone, it is indeed a marvel. It’s a sensation quite unexplainable. After spending a certain amount of time with some people, you tend to think that your connection and understanding is more than just of a normal level.
It doesn’t even matter if you’re romantically involved or not if there’s more than two of you that feel this deep connection, chances are, you’re spiritually connected to each other.
Now a spiritual connection doesn’t just exist; it’s something that comes into being. Here are some signs to figure out if you’re spiritually connected to someone.
You’re each other’s safe space
When you’re together, it’s a completely comfortable, no judgment, and no self-doubt environment.
It doesn’t matter what time it is or what place it is, you can confide in each other, and you can seek one another when you feel alone and need help.
When you’re together, you seek self-improvement
When you’re with your spiritual companion, you don’t feel the need to put up a false persona, your flaws and your mistakes are all displayed in front of you, and it doesn’t matter because you know you won’t be judged for them.
So when your partner gives you advice, you don’t feel offended at all, you take their advice seriously and reach out to them to analyse how much improvement is taking place.
It’s not just a one-way thing; you don’t feel shy to let them know what they can do better at either! And they don’t take offence to it at all.
You sincerely wish the best for them, and a win for them is a win for you!
There is no envy in your relationship. There is only time and space for pure joy at each other’s successes and happiness and pure sorrow at each other’s pains and sadness.
Your relationship is not at the expense of one another; it is a mutually beneficial relationship where you’re both in it, because you want to be and because you want to take care of one another. There are no hidden intentions. It’s as pure as it gets.
You’re equals
There is no imbalance of feelings, or roles. You both have your individual roles; however, you both also acknowledge that in the end, their overall weight age is the same.
Regardless of whether or not there is an astounding age gap, you both understand that you’re equals; no one is superior because they’re better at certain things. An inferiority-superiority complex is the first sign of a relationship NOT being healthy. There is no master, and there is no slave.
You’re still your own person
Okay, so we have established that people with spiritual bonds are kind to each other and maintain a healthy relationship, regardless of whether or not it’s platonic.
However; being spiritually connected in no way means you’re the same person or even similar. You don’t have to have the same friends or the same hobbies. A little distance shouldn’t make you feel like it’s the end of the world.
You do your own thing, and you respect when the other doesn’t have time to contemplate the meaning of life with you at 3 in the morning. You’re not all passion, and that’s a good thing.
If you have someone, you can consider yourself spiritually connected to, great! But don’t over-worry about finding yourself the perfect soul mate or best friend.
Just keep on working on self-improvement and becoming the best version of yourself, and I’m sure someone amazing will bump into you and scream profanities after spilling their coffee and make you fall in love with them.
