Thoughts and Moments of Psychic Senses
Do you ever get this urge while enjoying some moments of solitude, or while you are absorbed in work, that you should check up on someone, or even have this profound thought about them that you cannot switch from?
We all have these strange moments that we cannot understand why they take place, especially when this person could be someone you have not talked to or thought of in a long time, or maybe an old romance that you thought you got over but you find coming back to your mind with intensity.
You probably had one of these occurrences, after which you came to communicate with or meet the person and realize that they were thinking about you themselves, maybe even around the same time, you thought about them.
It feels in such moments as if we have certain psychic abilities.
Well, that is not entirely false. We all have an ability called “clairsentience,” which allows us to feel the emotional state of other people, especially those to whom we are, or once were, firmly attached.
This happens telepathically, without us using our senses, and even from hundreds or thousands of miles away. This is a state of emotional communication.
What you need to know is that we can all become more in touch with this ability and, with some signs, be able to tell if we are on somebody’s mind. And, with a higher level of mindfulness self-contact, this ability can be strengthened.

Is It Possible To Feel When Someone Is Thinking About You?
We all have a certain level of psychic ability.
Depending on where you are on your own journey and your current spiritual state, your psychic abilities might be well practiced or deeply hidden.
But your ability to sense when someone is thinking about you relies only partly on your own psychic power. It also relies on the strength of your telepathic connection with that person.
Experts like renowned spiritual medium Dr. Rebecca Rosen often talk about the latent psychic abilities that we all have inside us[source], and how bringing them out can help us to supercharge our lives.
Developing these latent abilities becomes so powerful because the psychic connection is ultimately a connection between people.
Having a spiritual connection with loved ones, like, twin flames and soulmates, makes connecting easier.
Therefore, if someone is thinking about you, it is much easier if you are already strongly connected to them. You do not have to be aware of that connection for it to work, but it certainly helps.
Signs Someone Is Thinking About You: List
Here are five psychic signs someone is thinking of you:
Feeling Unexpected Emotions
If you are hanging out with your friends one day, you are all laughing, cracking jokes, or even lost in a euphoric fit of dancing at a club, then all of a sudden, uncalled surge of sadness or fear falls on you out of nowhere.
You could be crossing someone’s mind at that moment. It’s likely to be true if you are thinking of somebody at the same time as well.
Getting A Sudden Itch In One Of Your Eyes
Of course, if you have an allergy or a particular illness in this eye, you can exclude this as a sign. But if you do not, and you suddenly start getting an intense itching, or even twitching, in one of your eyes, this is again a sign that you are on someone’s mind.
Believe it or not, the eye that gets the itch determines whether they are having negative or positive thoughts, and it even differs for a man than for a woman.
For example, if you, as a man, start getting this sign in your right eye, then you are being praised by someone, whereas the left eye tells that they are not so happy with you. This works the other way around for women.
Mid-meal Discomfort
If you are eating on your own, and out of the blue you start choking, coughing, or even feel like some of the food will not go smoothly through your throat, this is probably because your subconscious mind is building up the tension. That tension is one of your signs.
Stumbling Upon A White Feather
If you lost a loved one who was very close to you, finding a white feather is a sign that they are thinking about you in the other world. This was even said by many to have happened to them.
When Your Cheeks Burn
This one is probably one of the most subtle psychic signs. If you get a burn on your cheek without being in a socially-awkward situation or having a fever, then it means someone is criticizing you somewhere. So, the burning cheeks are somehow like them slapping you in the face from afar.
Sudden Sneeze
This is one of the big ones for many people; out of nowhere, you sneeze hard, a big achoo!. It means someone is thinking of you; most often, the sneezing indicates they miss you.
When Your Ears Burn
Another sign someone is thinking of you or someone who has a crush on you is when your ears burn. It’s a pleasant sensation to feel.
Hiccups
This is one of the negative signs. When you hiccup, it means someone is complaining about you.
They might lie to make themselves look good. If you get hiccups around a specific person, they could be the ones complaining.
Feeling A Physical Touch
When someone is longing to be near you, it can manifest as you feeling like they are physically touching you.
It is usually only momentarily and, as you might expect, can be quite a surprise when it does happen. Most often, it is like a hand on the shoulder or on the small of the back.
This only ever happens when the emotions of the person longing for you are very strong, as it takes a lot of energy to create a sensation like this.
It should be fairly simple to work out who is responsible for it. Along with the physical sensation, you should also get an intuition, a sense of the person who is reaching out to you telepathically.
It can manifest as a feeling of familiarity, but it can just as easily manifest as a familiar smell. You might be able to tell who it is simply by the feeling of the physical touch.
A Butterfly Lands On You
Butterflies are well known for their spiritual qualities. In many cultures, they are carriers of energy and are highly responsive to energy connection.
If a butterfly lands on your arm, it could be a sign that somebody is thinking about you.
This is not so true if you are out in a field where you would expect to encounter butterflies, which is usually just a coincidence.
However, if you are sitting at home thinking about that person and suddenly a butterfly lands on you, or even just enters the room, then that could be a sign of a telepathic connection that is active.
The butterfly is drawn to the vibrational energy that exists between you and gravitates towards the nearest source.
To you, the vibrations may only be very subtle, but for something as small and delicate as a butterfly, they must feel like the air is shaking!
Goosebumps
Think about the times that you get goosebumps, under normal circumstances.
These waves of bumpy electrical skin tingles are our physical way of feeling emotion. With the body tells come excitement, memories of old times, or even anticipation for something we are looking forward to doing. It can also be the result of nervousness, apprehension, and even mimic the feelings of love.
Scientific American article says [source] goosebumps occur because of a stress hormone called adrenaline.
For us, humans adrenaline is produced in two small beanlike glands that sit atop the kidneys, causes not only the contraction of skin muscles but also influences many other body reactions.
In animals, the hormone is released when the animal is cold or enduring a stressful situation. In humans, adrenaline is released when we feel cold or afraid, but also when we feel emotions such as anger and excitement.
When you get them for no reason, it is because someone is having very emotional thoughts about you, and some of that energy is transferring to you.
As energy transfers, as do the emotions. You can hazily know what type of thoughts they are having when they are thinking about you.
So, pay attention when you get goosebumps for no reason!
Dreaming About Them
Finally, if you dream about someone, then there is a good chance they are spending a lot of time thinking about you.
We further discuss it below, but suffice to say dreaming about someone is one of the more powerful non-physical signs that someone is thinking about you.
Dreams are in the language of the higher self, and your higher self is highly attuned to the telepathic connections we all possess.

How To Know if Someone is Thinking About You: Telepathy
Whatever may happen in the physical plane also occurs in the spirit realm. You know that everything comes from within and has an energetic connection.
Energy cords connect everyone we know. You can gain awareness when someone is thinking about you through telepathic connections or messages.
When you have a powerful connection with a certain person, you can recognize if they are reaching out or thinking about you.
Naturally, empaths usually have a telepathic connection. They can feel other people’s emotions and know which energy that person is carrying.
If you are psychic or empathic and you get a sure hunch that someone is thinking about you or you are thinking about them.
Then they are also thinking about you. The energy is picked by your senses to know that thought occurred.
Sensing Through Dreams
When you are dreaming, you might see them and the actions they are committing. Also, see colors, numbers which are related to them.
You should share the dream with them, that’s the only way they may acknowledge they were thinking of you.
When You Dream About Someone Are They Thinking About You?
Sharing dreams happens when minds are telepathically linked, and there is energy flowing between them.
Lloyd Auerbach writes extensively on the phenomenon of telepathic dreams [source] and helps to dispel some myths.
Rather than these shared dreams being evidence of a direct connection, they result from your mind picking up on energy signals created by telepathy.
Therefore, it is more likely that someone is thinking about you when you dream about them. This is because the act of dreaming about them establishes a sort of telepathic link that influences them to think about you.
It is not always true, though. Sometimes a dream about someone is more about your own thoughts than someone else’s.
That’s why it’s important to keep a dream journal and engage with your dreams. The only person that can interpret your dreams is you because the specific details that you see and feel during that experience are so unique that they often defy description.
Therefore, if you are looking for certainty, it is physical signs that you should pay the most attention to.
Physical Sensations Reveal When Someone is Thinking of You
It was revealed by many that physical sensation was the only way they could tell when their partner was thinking of them.
Whether you experience a rub on your back or arm, maybe a fleeting touch of the cheek or just an overall warm sensation.
People had acknowledged when they were down; they felt an uplifting of energy or overall feeling.
Which related to their partner thinking about comforting them when they were not around.
You can feel physical sensations, psychic signs, and telepathic messages when someone is thinking about you. They are all interconnected.
The next time you feel any of these sensations, you may want to pause and think for a moment.

Me and my Ex broke up its been about a month and i know she moved on and i know i dont have anymore feelings for her but every couple times a week i will have a dream about her what could it be ps the dreams are not rainbows and butterflies
I’ve been having so many romantics dreams about my past best friend,I’m not sure if he is thinking about me or I’m thinking about him
I lost a lover who we don’t talk anymore but the past few weeks I won’t stop thinking about him endlessly.today all of a sudden my right eye got red and I was a little bit uncomfortable but wasn’t feeling any pain.does it mean he’s thinking about me too
Hey, this same exact thing happened to me. I would think about my ex endlessly, every single day. Then out of no where my right eye got red, the doctors said it was just an eye infection but after seeing this and your comment.. I think it could be something more than what I thought, I don’t know maybe this is just a coincidence.
Why did i have a nightmare my boyfriend leaving me for another girl?
Burning or itching ear?i thought it itches a lot
I talked to this guy about a week ago and had a dream that he was all over girls and kissed a girl right in front of me, I told him about the dream the next day. He said “I would never ever do that” blah blah. Last Saturday we all went to a club and CRAZY HE WAS FLIRTING WITH EVERYONE BUT ME. This happens to me all the time. What is this called?
I had this dream a couple of weeks ago or a few weeks ago. I dreamt of receiving and reading a letter, while reading the letter i had someone in my thoughts, someone i miss a lot.
How to know who is thinking of you ???? (Which person )
How to know which person is thinking of you ???
Its Called Intuition. When I was a teenager, I use to get dreams where what happens tomorrow, i use to dream that previous night…..It happened many a times in my life.
I dated a troubled lass on and off for 2 years. She got into serious trouble and was arrested. I felt very bad and missed her but eventually got over her and felt relieved, able to realize that she was pretty awful.
Some years later I found myself thinking of her and missing her. In my driving job her old address began showing up. One time she was on my mind and I happened across an old letter she had sent from jail. Then I had a strong sinking feeling that she would reappear in my life and she did. I refused to let her back into my life though and realized that the old feelings we’re false.
Just lately without being aware of it at first, missing another girl. Lol
That’s confusing for the ear burning part. Can your ears burn because you think someone likes you?
I be having random thought cross my mind like when I’m working my ex pops in my head out of the blue like she thinking bout me. And getting random sneezing. And sometime I get a feeling we are very close together like she there next to me but we are no longer together.
I met this guy in school and he asked for my no. But I didn’t give him… But then recently I can’t stop thinking of him and whenever I see him I can’t hold it but act navous … We don’t even talk not because we are angry at each other but we just have nothing to say but still I can’t seem to forget him on my mind and I don’t know what to do
I get twitches in my right eye and reading this gave me anxiety
I’m going to use the word “boy” because I was 15 when this happened. I was in a crowded IHOP with a good friend (male) when I happened to look up and see a boy all the way across the restaurant looking at me. A song from a musical, “Some Enchanted Evening” started playing in my head. I kept stealing glances and some of the times he was glancing at me too. He and his friend got up to leave and as I was sitting in the front of the restaurant they would have to pass by. When they got to our table, the girl glanced over and said “Hi John. How are you. etc.” He introduced me to her and she in turn introduced him to us. A week later my friend called and asked if I remembered meeting them and I said yes. He told me his friend had called him because they wanted to ask me out and would he call and see if I was interested. It was the beginning of a 6 year relationship. I fell deeply in love with him but unfortunately, I was very lacking in self esteem and always thought he was too good for me (would find out many years later he had similar issues). Late last month he popped into my mind – I should state that I thought about him many, many times over the years. But this time I couldn’t get him out of my mind. I talked with a friend of mine and she told me she could find him if I wanted. 10 minutes later I had his address. I could also see he was married. I agonized for days wanting to contact him to tell him how important he had been to me but I finally decided not to make contact. After reading this article I wonder if I should. I’ve been married 3 times (widowed from last one 2 years ago) and never felt the kind of love I felt with him.
I was talking to someone, in an email the other day. I asked where they were from, funny thing is, is I knew where he was. When he wrote back and told me, it’s exactly what I already knew!
